Museum Work
Highlights of the Preservation Framing created at the San Francisco Museum of Art over the past 3 years.
Below are a few examples of production work, and large scale framing. With careful attention to using the right materials and joinery, as well as precision with hinged work and spacers.

Roy Lichtenstein's Imperfect Series (1988), using 1" spacers on 2" Maple Frame Stock. These are large scale frames with dimensions up to 8' x 4'.



Employing maple dowels for structural integrity while aesthetically matching the frame stock.





HUNG LIU - Production and finished woodworking of 33 frames each differing by 1/16". On top of the need for precision, the expedited request to finish by the shows deadline left no time for mistakes.
